I love sunday mornings! There is nothing better than waking up knowing you have all the time in the world and the first thing you can enjoy on this sunny day is breakfast! Why not make it worth it and make this incredibly yummy and tasty german puffed pancake? Doesn’t it just look delicious?
To make, simply whisk following ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup flour, sifted
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
Preaheat oven to 400F. Butter a medium sized casserole dish and simply add the mixture into the dish. Place in the oven for 20 minutes, then turn oven off. Leave in for another 10. Once you take it out, it should be very puffy, but inflate a little as soon as it gets cold air. That’s ok! Just add some powdered sugar, cut up some strawberries and you are good to go!
